Jason provides expertise in the areas of project management processes and construction quality management, responsible for everything from recruiting project staff and consultants, controlling budgets, and managing project subcontractors to monitoring project progress and performance, approving design specifications, and working closely with users to ensure projects meet their business needs. Prior to joining Bowman Consultants in 2016, he worked at Qualcomm, quickly becoming an assistant project manager after starting as an administrative clerk, with responsibilities that included working on various tenant improvement projects as well as the construction of three large office buildings.

Jason is PMI CAPM certified — Project Management Institutes Certified Associate Project Manager — USACE CQM Certified — U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Construction Quality Management for Contractors – and a certified PMP – Project Management Professional. He and his wife, Zorayma — who have a 5-year-old girl and 2-year-old boy — found common ground in having military fathers who instilled the same values of discipline, respect, and trust. Outside of work, in addition to spending time with his family, Jason volunteers for Cornerstone Church of San Diego, and enjoys camping, off-roading and other outdoor activities, and building various things around his house.
